eBay Desktop 1.0 Released

eBay sellers to be banned from criticizing buyers

In a move to curtail retaliation by vengeful sellers in its feedback system, eBay plans to prohibit sellers from posting negative feedback about their customers.
Beginning in May, sellers will not be able to leave negative or even neutral comments about their customers, only positive feedback, said spokesman Usher Lieberman.

EBay lowers fees and tightens seller standards

EBay unveiled changes to its online marketplace Tuesday that the company characterizes as sweeping and historic and that are aimed at boosting sales by making the shopping experience simpler and safer.

EBay Saves Billions For Bidders

If you think you would save money by bidding on eBay (NSDQ: EBAY) auctions, you would likely be right, according to a study released Monday by researchers at the University of Maryland. In fact, the researchers maintain eBay bidders saved $19 billion in 2007 at the popular auction site.
